Office 15, the next generation of Office Suit from Microsoft, has entered the technical preview state, Microsoft said Monday, with a public beta expected later this summer.
Tech giant refused to reveal much about the suit except indicating that it would make it a lot easier to sync your data across platforms and devices a lot easier.
"The goal of Office 15 is to simultaneously update our cloud services, servers, and mobile and PC clients for Office, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, Project, and Visio," PJ Hough, corporate vice president of the Microsoft Office division, said in a blog post. "Quite simply, Office 15 will help people work, collaborate, and communicate smarter and faster than ever before."
Technical Preview stage means MS will bring in trusted long time consumers and business partners to test this product early in it’s Alpha stage.
Office Team has not revealed much technical details unlike the Windows 8 developer team whose staff have been writing blog posts quite frequently detailing the technical specifications and development of Windows 8.
Leaked details would soon start appearing all over but true details won’t be available till the public beta release due this summer.
Office suit has been the best selling product for Microsoft. Lets see what Office 15 offers.
