Google+ the new era of social networking which is still appreciated yet and people are running towards it immensely. Google is also inviting people a lot to the Google+ to make it much more famous in a very short period of time. Even though Google+ is in the "Beta" phase of it but still it's giving competition to other social networking web portals. Google+ gives the features like Adding a friend to the circle, hangouts, Google talk/chat facility which includes video chat as well.
But question comes "Is Google+ better then Facebook?" when you compare it with Facebook because still now maximum people wants to use Facebook. Actually, Google+ lacks in some of the features which Facebook is offering from so long.
These top features are:
- Events:
You can create your own event on Facebook and inviting people to your event is very convenient on Facebook.
- Pages:
Google+ doesn't offer the fan page facility for the people who wants to get entertain and want to get updates for the their own interest. Even though there are no Business/Fun/Music/Artists pages or groups on Google+. This thing can make people off from Google+ because maximum time people socialize for their fun.
- Apps:
For a developer it's not a good place when you don't find the apps to play on. We all just love the apps on Facebook. Applications use to offer gaming, work process, business procedures on Facebook. So, Google+ looses one more point here by not to have the apps on it.
- Vanity URLs:
If someone asks me what's the best way to reach you on any of the social network then the first thing strikes is the my Facebook URL which is like http://facebook.com/yourname (just replace my name with it you can get to my Facebook Profile :D ). which actually leads to the your profile. Google+ isn't offering this as well which is not a good buzz for the business or social media expert.
But we should hope for the, might be in the next phase of Google+ we can see many of these features but with different names on Google+ as well.
