The HTC Sensation has finally hit the Indian market. It is a dual-core Android smartphone, its rival competitions the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the LG Optimus 2X is also available in India now.
HTC Sensation offers the following features: a 4.3-inch qHD display with 960x540 resolutions, powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It also includes an 8 megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash.
The cost for the Sensation is 32,700 INR. It is definitely competition for the Samsung Galaxy S@ which is priced at 32,990 INR.
In other smartphone news, the HTC Flyer is soon to launch shortly in the next couple of weeks. The HTC will be competing against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, Blackberry Playbook and the Apple iPad. These ‘tablet’s are soon to be all available in India.
Meanwhile, in the UK, the HTC Desire has caused some negative reaction after the HTC Desire Facebook page updated a status claiming the new HTC Desire will not feature a Gingerbread upgrade.
For all those HTC fans out there, no need to worry, HTC retracted their statement and announced that the Desire will get a Gingerbread update. However, it will need to cut Sense apps in order to free up some memory for the new software.
