Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer has now officially launched its first Facebook phone in the Indian market. It is the Android-based HTC Salsa which the manufacturer first revealed at the Mobile World Congress back in February, along with the HTC Chacha.
TweetThe HTC Salsa sport a dedicated Facebook button for quick access and further it tightly integrates the social networking service throughout the smartphone. It also includes a 5 megapixel camera on its rear with autofocus and LED flash, a secondary front-facing VGA camera, HTC Sense UI and a 3.4-inch touchscreen display. It is powered by an 800 MHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
This Android-based Facebook smartphone is officially priced at Rs. 22,000 while online retailer Flipkart is already shipping the device for Rs. 20,499 and LetsBuy is shipping it for Rs. 20,399.
